13/03/18 Lumnary Lecture, Helen Legg

I don't think I should have gone to this lecture, or at least I should have thought about questions I might have asked. Instead, I watched her show 2 peoples work- which I didn't enjoy at all. I felt like it was like reading a review of a film rather than watching it yourself. Or watching the directors cut but instead of having the director explain his work, he has a friend do it. I couldn't get into that at all. 
I began to take notes about their work then realised there was no point unless they come in themselves.
I appreciate how Helen is trying to make the Tate more accessible and she did mention a few times how they have a partnership with the uni, I would like to see more involvement- a direct act of partnership, something that directly affects the Fine Art course. I only thought about it afterward.
