I had mixed feelings about the lecture and I still do in regards to the work. I do not like her work but I know it is of merit. 
Her films are too slow, too indulgent. However these things aren't my projections, the artist knows this. She strives for this. A time scale that is considered an innate to her practise and a subject she is literally related to.
She is very intelligent and a good talker but again, I am missing a straight forward Artist. The whole thing makes me think about studying Art. We are working in an academic environment. Literal experts tutor us. Of course, things are intelligent. But I don't like the language. It's as if there is a list and as long as you say the right words, it doesn't matter what order they come out in. They will make sense to very few and those people will nod.
